The scene looks straight out of Hollywood Sci-Fi thriller — humanity visits an alien planet that shimmers in a mysterious green. What’s down on the surface?
Turns out, it’s you and me. This is indeed our own Mother Earth!
NASA astronaut Don Pettit snapped this photo from the International Space Station as a big Northern Lights show danced across the skies.
