First up the TL;DR: 😎
Now the deets: Sometimes in March we get a burst of warm weather that is kinda like spring, only to lurch back to rainy and cool seemingly moments later. Some have taken to calling it “False” Spring or “Fake” Spring.
I THINK WE HAVE THE REAL DEAL NOW!
Rain has disappeared from the forecast for the next week, instead replaced with mostly sunny* days (Well, maybe not you, Tuesday) and while temperatures will be on the mild to warm side, they won’t be excessive. We’re not even really within shouting distance of records, which seems pretty amazing these days in the West.

Easter Sunday looks amazing with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 60s around Seattle with *70s* likely in the warmer spots south and east of Seattle.
Monday will likely end up the warmest day of the year so far but we’re going to do something NO ONE ELSE ON THE WEST COAST CAN DO IT SEEMS: Avoid setting a record high! Apparently, it IS possible to be warm yet leave the record books alone!
We will flirt with 70 degrees and some of the forecast models think we’ll get there. But the record high is 78 — NOT EVEN CLOSE!
(I have totally jinxed this now, haven’t I? It’s going to be 115 in May now for payback…)

The ridge that was bringing the warmth will shift inland later Monday allowing for some cooler, onshore flow to move in. If it hurries, it’s possible the late evening could cool rather quick so if you’re hanging out at like Alki or along the shores that evening, keep a light jacket in the car.
A weak system will slide through British Columbia late Monday into Tuesday but will only manage to toss a few clouds over the border and keep highs in the low-mid 50s rather than 70ish.
The rest of the week is dry but with a northwest breeze that maintains a perfect balance of sun and lightly cool breezes. That will keep high temperatures in a range of around the mid 50s to low 60s. I know spring breaks are quite variable around here but if yours is this week, you hit the spring break lottery!
Our next chance of rain, such as it is, looks like early next week.
